Print MKE is an open forum of printmaking held by the SGC International in order to encourage printmakers of all kinds to showcase what Milwaukee means to them through the process of putting ink to paper.

Let's face it: If you live in Milwaukee, you know it got the name "Brew City" for a reason. Whether you enjoy the 3-2 beers of yesteryear, they still stand strong in this city, and there's a lot of pride in what beer has done for the growth of Wisconsin. This linocut poster was dedicated to the dingy basements and cubby-hole bars of our town, the beers that made those places somewhat tolerable.
